There sure is a difference between having to ride in the middle seat in coach with my knees jammed against the seat in front of me -- if I survive the harassment of passing through 'security' -- and having a custom 747 all tricked out for you and your retinue. Man... talk about the chasm between the haves and the have-nots.

The AF1 thing is an idealized fairy tale about the courageous Chickenhawk in Chief bravely cruising the skies over North America on 09/11/01 with fighter escorts while all other planes were grounded. What an inspiring tale of a man who used a plane as big as the Queen Mary as a corporate jet at taxpayer expense! I thank God they kept him safe at that time when he was never threatened, so we could look forward to more deer-in-the-headlights My Pet Goat moments.

Think I'll go hurl and try to think of more pleasant things like my last root canal.

Almost the entire episode is about Air Force One with Bush as President, but the way it was advertised you would think it was about Obama. Shameful advertising.
