Diane asks about the selling of the Senate seat. Blago sounds very different this morning. His speech pattern isn't nearly as pressured. Diane now throwing out quotes from the tapes. Pretty damning. Blago responds by saying he can't really comment, but they brought up snippets of conversation. Repeats he can't go into details.

He still sounds crazy. What does his political track record have to do with the allegations? "If they can do that to a governor, they can do that to you!" They can impeach me from office? He is confounding political impeachment with criminal indictment and it's making me go batty.

hmm. Blago's wife is not there. Blago discloses he thought of naming Oprah to the Senate. Diane goes back to the tapes. Blago defends the tapes. Blago says he knows the result in the Senate will be conviction. The fix is in. He's been denied the presumption of innocence.

5. talking about his kids

tells them that he's fightning for something much bigger than himself. Coming up: State Senator will talk with Diane and Blagojevich.

6. State Senator defending procedure

saying the proceedings are fashioned after the trial of Clinton in the U.S. Senate. Blago contends this is untrue. back insisting that they're getting rid of him because he gave free transportation to seniors, etc.
