This "bipartisan" BS is driving me INSANE!
These jackasses are the reason the country, and dare I say the world, is about to implode. Why do we care what they want to do? Why do we care if McCain won't "support" Obama's plan? To hell with them all, the irrelevant little cockroaches. :grr::grr::grr::grr:

Did you listen to Thom Hartmann today? If you can, download his podcast for today, 1-26, or read his piece at Common Dreams about how the Repukes pulled off the massive con of the last 30 years.

1. Obama is giving them a chance to save face. They aren't taking it, and
now he can leave them in the dust. America knows who the professionals are. We know who is trying to save the country and who is playing petty partisan games.

5. Let them pipe up at all?
They're lucky we let them pipe up at all.

So "we" get to decide who can talk and who can't? There is such a thing as the First Amendment. The GOP has a free speech right to "pipe up" anytime they want to, and we cannot stop them.

8. Yep they can pipe up all they want
doesn't mean the President of the House and Senate leadership need to listen.

6. Bipartisanship
We hug their elephant while they kiss our ass.

Obama is opening up to them and they are looking really bad. I am liking this a lot so let's keep playing bipartisanship.

Obama Using His Personal Appeal to Put Change Into Motion
By Michael A. Fletcher
Washington Post Staff Writer
Monday, January 26, 2009
...
"He ran promising real change in policies and in how the White House is run, and that is what he is doing," said Dan Pfeiffer, Obama's deputy communications director.

...Obama said, shrugging: "Nah, I don't sweat. You ever see me sweat?"

10. It's CRUCIAL to the Ruling Class that we believe we are a divided country
Obama has massive political capital right now, simply because so many people are on the same page - rejecting ReagoBushnomics and voting for change.

They don't want us figuring that out.

14. I agree, to hell with the GOP. Former President Bush met with Democratic
Congressional leaders TWICE in his last term, so, Obama has to flex the muscle that we gave him; he has a mandate and he should steamroll the Republicans. They do not want to help, they do not want Obama to succeed so f-k them!!!

16. Bear with it for a while ---ie: Let Obama play his hand.
He's dealing from a position of strength. Personally, I believe that he's acting in "good faith". But if one has a more devious cast of mind, then feel free to believe that he's "suckering them in".
