Michael Steele "Bipartisanship is overrated"
This is what we are dealing with, second day and he's keeping everything that everyone hates about their party in the forefront. Keep up the good work there Michael, there won't be any of you left in 2010.

6. To me.."Conservative" doesn't describe
idiots who raided our blood and treasure to throw it at Iraq in a misbegotten war on the Iraqis.

The gopers waste our Environment and throw money at Corporate Welfare.

He's a hard core asshole whose middle name is hypocrite.

14. Nothing wrong with being pro-gun. Democrats don't want to take peoples guns away.
We can work together to reach agreement on the "semi-auto" rifle argument - approve for use.

How about Pro-FAMILY PLANNING vice Pro-Live Birth. Because after these babies are born, the GOP don't want to do a damn thing to help them thrive.

2. Then we should prove him right
Our party holds the majority, screw the GOP if they refuse to work with us in trying to solve the problems their side created.

3. Not possible
If this is the Republicans attitude I say to hell with them. I don't think it possible to be unilaterally bipartisan which is what President Obama and Democrats are trying to do. I say the Democrats should give the Repubs a very short rope to hang themselves with. If they insist on being nothing but obstructionists then let them sit on the sidelines. President Obama needs to understand that the Republicans never stop campaigning and thus all their decisions are based on what will help them or hurt the Democrats in the next election. Helping people or actually doing the jobs they were elected to do have nothing to do with. The only words they understand are 'power' and 'greed'.

13. Obama is playing it right
you don't tip your hands, and he's a lot harder for the pukies to effectively attack due to his ostensibly staying on the high ground. He is giving the pukies a ahort orpe to hang themselves with. I think it's hysterical though that you think Obama doesn't understand what's going on. And lastly, Obama knows that having the public behind him is a huge source of power.

4. He is a finished fool and as an African American
I am insulted that any Republican would believe that Michael Steele would cause us to rethink our Party.

Rethugs are stupid and Steele is nothing but Rush in a suit.

And here I thought Republicans were so self-centered.

Bipartisanship is completely overrated, especially when the two groups have polar opposite views on damn near everything. So it's time for Obama to give it up and just take it to these clowns.

"sincere" vs. "calculated". Seems to be a range of opinions. Hmmm.

15. Steele, son of sharecropper's daughter-water carrier for the top 1%-decries 'wealth redistribution.'

How totally and utterly rich! Rush Limbaugh will indeed be singing the praises of their new GOP chairman Michael Steele--cause 'it's money Limbaugh loves!'

And, this from his speech today at the Republican Congressional retreat:

"The goose egg you laid on the president's desk was just beautiful," he told the crowd, of their recent unanimous opposition to the House stimulus bill.

19. He also said he was in the business of winning elections...what a douche bag!
No asswipe, you're in the business of representing americans. That statement is what is wrong with the GOP. He might as well just come out and said "Screw Americans, I'm only in it for myself"
What a Tool! And a token at that.
