earned 5.2 MILLION dollars over the last 2 years to advise health insurers and hospitals.

No freakin' way! And...what happened to the whole not being able to work in an industry that you've lobbied for thing? This is a bad appointment.

5.2 MILLION dollars .... and he earned 2 MILLION dollars last year for work with his law firm AND 2 MILLION dollars as a consultant for InterMedia.

Why the heck should he be making health care policy decisions...he has no idea what it is like to have no health insurance or to have to go without something.

Bill Clinton made more $6 million that from foreign governments and now his wife in head of department that oversees foreign policy. Are you outraged about that too?

I'm not suggesting Clinton's contributions should be cause for outrage, but if you're outraged about Daschle, you should be more outraged about Clinton because of the involvement of foreign governments. Fair is fair.

Hillary Clinton had made 6 million dollars from foreign governments and was then elected head of state.

Hillary does not equal Bill. I am so over Bill anyway.

"without becoming a registered lobbyist, he made millions of dollars giving public speeches and private counsel to insurers, hospitals, realtors, farmers, energy firms and telecommunications companies with complex regulatory and legislative interests in Washington."

7. If he had any decency he would step down now instead of "closed door"
