1. I can still cut them some slack. It's not like they have NOTHING to do but vet nominees.

8. I agree..
There are a lot of people who are looking for anything to criticize but didn't say a damn word when asshole and company were running everything. No,I don't agree with some of his choices and some of his choices should have checked themselves. I will give him more leeway considering that he is trying to clean up bush's mess and the fact that the Republicons have been planning on how to obstruct every since Nov 5.,some Dems are bluedogs, Dems usually don't stick together on anything, some Dems are trying to do everything all at once instead of pacing themselves..

2. Agreed. The next time this happens it is clearly on Obama.
How difficult can it be to find qualified people who actually pay their taxes and do what is right without all of the "forgetting". I don't buy it. This is not the kind of change for which I was looking from Obama.

3. Wow - stating the obvious? Don't you think he knows that?
Or are you just the loud speaker from FR informing us?

Further - it's pretty obvious that Daschele hid it, so I wouldn't exactly be running to blame obama.

4. He's not giving the wingnuts the opportunity to obstruct the nominee which would be a worse outcome

5. I don't think there is one DUer that could hold up Obama's JOCK when it comes to being organized.
Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. Trying to armchair quarterback a presidential administration to the level that some of you are is both sad and hilarious.

This kind of stuff happens. And honestly, the tax stuff wasn't even that big a deal when you consider that the ethical thing was done with both Geithner and Daschle. People who make money like that run into those situations.

Go ahead and let the MSM feed you the narrative. You are biting into it hook, line and sinker.

6. I'm impressed that Obama is realistic enough to cut the shit out and move on.
This looks bad right this second but in the long run is a very good thing.

You watch. People will say Obama was honest enough about his position to follow through and dump his long time supporter when it looks like he doesn't pass muster.

From a Health Care reform perspective now is the time for single payer advocates to push for our candidate.

7. Isn't that the Chief of Staff's job?
Just wondering, at least that's what I thought.
