MSNBC - Michelle Obama hesitated in using the "WE" Word! BREAKING!
Edited on Tue Feb-03-09 03:36 PM by FrenchieCat
Thus far, two seperate conversations in two seperate segments reporting that Michelle Obama kinda of hesitated in using the "WE" word when she was speaking yesterday in front of the Department of Education!

Have no Fear! Our Media is on the case!

3. When you have a first lady that is not a doormat, this is a BIG issue with a lot of folks.

The media is sexist and would jump all over her ass for it.

The president is allowed to seek anyone's advice on policy...except for the 'first lady'. God forbid.

If she had, there would have been a chorus of "we didn't elect her!!!!" Oh yes, you did. The pres comes as a whole package deal.

9. In what context?
If she says "we" which may imply her and the President, someone would huff and puff that she was not elected, not even a member of the cabinet and thus should not speak for him.

Same was with Hillary during the primaries that some noted she would say "I" instead of the "we" that is universally used by anyone running for office. Had she said "we" it would have implied her and Bill.
