even I know this mortgage relief the Repugs are yammering about will not mean one thing if the homeowner does not have a job.
Am I missing something?

2. All the bailouts are ridiculous for the same reasons |
|
Why give money to banks and automakers? If people had jobs, and money, and a relatively sound future, they would be buying things. America has finally wised up... and stopped spending. The Fed needs to understand this.

3. Haven't missed a thing. |

But their yammering has nothing to do with the poor schmuck who just lost his job. I don't know a thing about this current fracas, but I'll take a guess. It has everything to do with handing more free money to the megabanks and corps holding those mortgages?
With Repugs, follow the money and keep your crap detector's battery charged.

6. No, you're on to something.. |

Email everybody in Congress and surprise them with your amazing assessment of the main problem of the economy. They probably won't believe you. They're still crying for more tax cuts when there's hardly anybody making enough to pay taxes.

10. On top of that they want to make it that you can't walk |
|
away from it even if you lose your job. You owe the money for the rest of your life even if you can't pay. That's what the republicans want for the 4% mortgages.
So banks can bail out for billions and write off losses but the little people will have the debt for the rest of their life if they can't pay.
