I think it might be worth a try to have a conversation with a Republican.


If you don't get what you want or even a reasonable compromise you haven't lost anything but the 30% of the country that isn't impressed with either party now consider you the responsible adult in the room.

8. A conversation, yes.
But putting a Republican as a Cabinet member in charge of Commerce is a bad idea.
