So let me get this straight...
President Obama nominates Daschle. Says "I screwed up". Catches a lot of grief.

Bush LIES THE AMERICAN PEOPLE INTO A WAR WITH A COUNTRY THAT HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11

Says "So what?" after thousands of Americans and Iraqis die.

The MSM lets it go.

Sure, sounds fair and balanced to me. :sarcasm:

1. The media is like the megaphone Bush had in his hand on 9/11
nothing but a tool.

2. Let's not forget the people of this country are suffering because
we have no jobs. Those that do have jobs are scared they will be gone tomorrow. Entire states are drying up. The rethugs caused this mess and are standing in the way of the stimulus package. The President has inherited a mess and they talk about Daschle all fucking day.

Disgusting

3. The MSM sucks Republican dick.
Although it is a pathetic, shriveled up little dick, the suction is so strong I defy anyone of you to pull them off.

8. Sounds like the media considers itself the "Decider" of things.....
I'm waiting for the FCC. Obama stated how he felt about "Change" in that area, and I'm gonna be patient about this.

I wrote to the White House in reference to the Media's poll skewing. Just so they be warned!

10. I can't believe it's about to happen again

11. I am thinking about the same way you are.
The media really is terrible and they feed the short sensationalist attention span of their viewers as if feeding candy to children.

12. That's why they've been becoming more and more irrelevant
They did their best to distract us about what Bush was doing, yet we know what he was doing in spite of it. As a matter of fact it's probably the first time in history that the electorate know more than the traditional media. I remember when we relied solely on the MSM for our information.

Things have changed in a profound way. The people have turned out to be curious for the truth and for facts and we search for them and we've set up dissemination systems that work via the internet. The success of sites like DU are a testament to this. It's not the DU administrators that spread information. It's DUers who do it. And it's DUers, people from every walk of life, every level of education and every economic strata who contribute and exchange ideas and information.

The MSM doesn't know it yet but we catch them in their lies daily. That says it all. We know more than they do. We have an MSM bubble and it's going to burst sooner or later.

The last time I opened up, the media had the left abandoning Obama.

16. Honestly, I don't think America really cares about Daschle--the position of
HHS will be filled, and that will be the end of it. I'm glad Obama admitted that nominating Daschle was a mistake, but it's pretty minor in the grand scheme of things. There's just not that many cabinet-level folks who are squeaky-clean, apparently--that's the way of the rich and powerful.

17. It wasn't a mistake to nominate him, it was a mistake in either
the vetting, or the over-selling of him after the facts came out.
