yes, I know it is early, in fact futuristic and unrealistic (America doesn't deserve Russ) but the Gregg appointment may have some folks on the fence.

I don't think it's wrong to consider a primary challenge. Primaries are pretty much the base's only constructive tool to assert its power in the electoral process. However, we should wait and see what comes of Gregg's appointment and other actions.

9. I vote for Obama but voting against him is NOT blasphemy
just a difference of opinion. Keep in mind the fact that the main thing O has going for him is that he has a brain, as opposed to his predecessor. So does Feingold. A contest between the two would be much more like the way things are supposed to be done, rather than the triangulation ballet that has typified our politics since Perot put Clinton in the WHite House.
