President Bush did that for the last eight years. Hey.... I thought Obama was going to change things.

4. Sorry, NRaleigh.
Honestly didn't see it. I came home pissed off at the vetting process then saw the President owning up to it. How refreshing.

2. The change is Bush didn't admit to mistakes, at least not till right before he was about to leave
I have a feeling Obama wants to make the effort to be very up front with american and let them know that he understand if he's done something wrong, not just sweep it under the rug or try to defend it,like Bush.

It's a sign of good character on his part and a sign of bad on anyone who thinks this is the moment to bad mouth him when he's being honest.
It's refreshing to have a president in office who's honest and willing to admit he isn't perfect.

5. Bush NEVER did, Hellataz.
I've never used those stupid little faces to show I'm being facetious. Keeps them guessing.

7. He sorta did, but not really.
Towards the end he eluded to making some mistakes, but the things he admitted to were never the real mistakes we wanted him to admit to, like the war and how it started and everything that followed. He basically said something like "I made some mistakes, but I'm not gonna say what"
