2. I like him. I want to hear more about impeachment based on a foggy indictment, which is nothing....

....more than an accusation.

The history of impeachments is about political bullshit and is based on the old British system of removing political enemies of the king and Parliament.

Uh, England did away with such political impeachments centuries ago. We are are so far behind cleaning up our political processes when it comes to the treatment of political scalawags and their questionable and even criminal antics.

I can see impeaching and removing life tenured judges and the like, but a legislature removing an executive legitimately elected by the voters.....?

Separation of powers? Ever hear of it?

3. Checks and balances ??? Ever hear of THAT?
Should Richard Nixon have been allowed to continue running amok with the Constitution?

For that matter should George W. Bush have been? He WAS but he clearly should have been impeached long ago.

The impeachment process has a very important purpose especially when it comes to chief executives run amok.

9. Having a parliament, instead of our system, is helpful..
Parliamentary systems can have a "vote of no confidence" at any time, and call for an election.. Our system pretty much leaves a bad choice in place for years, until we have another scheduled election...and if that bad person has enough money, they can even get RE-elected :(

10. I dunno, I like direct election of leaders.
Under a parliamentary system, Harry Reid would be, for all intents and purposes, our chief executive.
