In the day and age of 24hr media
is there really a chance for any president to fully succeed? I mean all the bullshit that gets reported everyday, whether true or not makes it almost impossible for Obama to reach the expectations he set for himself. After this whole Daschle fiasco the media is already proclaiming that Obama is the same old Washington politician, and he is losing his credibility. IT HAS ONLY BEEN TWO WEEKS! Give me a break! I was annoyed at the Daschle thing like everyone else, but they are treating Obama like a peice of shit. Is that just my opinion? All these bullshit polls they focus on, these blog sites they rely on for "real news" How can Obama succeed when he is going against all this garbage? Sorry, I needed to vent!

1. The let Bush get away with a lot all because of...9/11!
But I remember Clinton's presidency. He was popular despite daily crap about Whitewater.

7. Amen, it is always what someone else did
When it comes to Obama. The Rev. Wright, his illegal aunt, Ayres, it just goes on and on. Obama must be one of the cleanest people out there (hey I can't help it, I'm from Delaware.). his smoking is the only thing he does wrong. And saying Um too often. He's got to keep doing those things and palling around with bad people or he'd be too perfect.

3. For the first few weeks of the Clinton Admin...
...they were NON-STOP with the "where's all the change?" BS.

I can't count the times that I said "He's been President for 3 (or 2 or 1) weeks!"

As I and many others here have said, WE have to be the media.

4. Clinton's presidency was all him vs. the press
I don't get why anyone here would expect any difference. The MSM is all corp-owned, they are for the Rethugs and their tax breaks. Its obvious.

5. Yes there is, controll the message by getting image out first, simple and consistent. Dems have NO..
...message discipline and their measures get diluted because of that.

6. NYT last straw for Dashcle, he said, now LTEs are in unison with NYT.
Where was the 24/7 media on Bush, until the end? Obama was being pragmatic on wanting health care as fast as possible, and the sanctimony is over the top. Thirty years of service tossed away like crap.
