I'm still pissed from watching this morning's MORON JOE show...
Edited on Wed Feb-04-09 03:32 PM by zulchzulu
I figured it would be amusing to watch (actually listen to) the Moron Joe and Mumbling Mika show this morning with the Daschle story being discussed.

Yeah, they discussed it. Moron Joe started touching himself when he heard Obama say "he screwed up". Give the asshole a tissue. Mika was in her usual Vodka Smirk trying to focus on the camera and the Frat Boy was interjected with glee cutie-cuting some nonsense about how it's really bad. He had a tiny hard-on waiting to do his segment "News You Can't Use"... that's the whole friggin' show in case they ever figured it out.

Then Peggy Noonan chimed in saying that the Obama appointees "are dropping like flies"... what? Four people out of literally several hundred appointees either didn't understand TurboTax or didn't tell the Full Skinny on their tax woes. "Not since William Henry Harrison..." said Peggy, trying to pull out a George Will out of her derriere...

Then they all veered back onto the road and started talking about the cap on banker's bonuses. Barnacle chimed in his Boston accent that "the people just don't understand how business gets done on Wall Street". Moron Joe, Mika, Peggy and the Frat Boy all agreed... the poor, dumbass working stiffs, yunno, those people, just don't have a clue how bidness gits done...

WHAT?

It was as though they completely forgot that the bankers got a trillion dollar rescue package from the working stiffs and were about to ask for more. Yeah, we working stiffs should just shut the fuck up and let them do their "magic". What was absolutely unfortunate was that NOBODY on that insane show even thought for one second what they were implying.

These asshats STILL think that Wall Street hucksters and con artists know better than the tax payers, WHO NOW OWN THEM.

How many zeros in a trillion, Moron Joe? Hint, it's your fucking IQ.

My head hurts.

2. I know what you mean and...
as you watch you notice that there are five RepubliCONS and no Dems then after a commercial break they will bring in a so called Dem who backs down or a strong Dem who hardly gets much time or five begin the attack together. Meanwhile, they all are trying to pad their own pockets....

3. MediaHos are going to
froth over Obama whether things go right or not. They are the number one enemy of America.

The only reason to watch them is to see what the enemy is up to.

4. the other day
Edited on Wed Feb-04-09 04:04 PM by ErinBerin84
Joe admitted that he makes up half the stuff he says (no shit, Sherlock) and they shot to the producer, who said "We're supposed to keep that a secret." Occasionally, I'll watch for the guests, but I definitely don't watch as most as I used to. Everyone just plays their little role. And Peggy waxes on about Ray-gun. Pat gets shrill. Mika mugs and clucks. Joe douches out. Erin Burnette shills wall street talking points. The Television Without Pity boards on Morning Joe are pretty funny, just like here. No one who watches and comments like it, it's just a bitchfest. I read there and catch up as part of my Morning Joe rehab therapy, because watching regularly would make me angry for the rest of the day.

5. I stopped watching Morning Joe.
It was more than I could stomach. Now I watch BBC America and enjoy an hour of solid reporting and international news.

7. Morning Joe must be losing ratings, If the OP sends that post to them
They might see why they are losing.

I gave up watching months ago, when Dead Intern Joe said Obama was "too inexperienced"

WHo are those people anyway, and why do they have a TV show? They are as dumb as George Bush.

14. I don't believe that ... I can't stand to listen to Joe Scarborough for 5 minutes without wanting to
slap him upside the head. That's NOT entertainment. The guy is such an arrogant dumb-ass that I truly find it hard to believe that large doses of his blather is appealing to people.

Just turn the channel! - the M$M is most concerned with conveying "talking points" - if we aren't PICKING UP on their trash, it won't SELL to the Average American.

13. Many of us have stopped watching Mourning Ho-Jo. You're welcome to join us.
CSPAN's Washington Journal had Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) on this AM. It's much more educational and enlightening to watch REAL policy makers without the Corporate Pundits putting words into their mouths.

21. The scab is really manic this morning...
screaming "Screw the Kids" because they get their news free on line. According to him, kids need to pay for the news in order to get quality news and keep the newspapers from going under.

Jack Welsh looks like he's on his last leg going on about how the banks need to be able to smooze customers with trips to Bermuda and box seats at major sporting events cause that's how bidness is done.

scab just lambasted mika and told her to shut up in so many words and she smiled sweetly into the camera.

This show is entertainment gold.

22. Shit! I broke my own rule for over 2 months and tuned-in to hear Mika saying "Joe dropped his
pacifier, but don't worry because he's with Mommy now." :wtf: OVER!

Guess Joe didn't want to interview Jim Webb and just stormed off the set during the commercial.

Those two are just PATHETIC, i.e., Joe and Mika Mouse.

Did you see mika interrupt him at the end of the Webb interview and he wheeled around and glared at her and the baby. I thought joe liked babies, he keeps spawning 'em. Who knew. And the baby was adorable.

Mika is such a piss poor example of a successful woman and Joe is just vile.

Best wishes but I'm mercifully going back to C-SPAN. :hi:

26. I watched c-span in the am for years....
I quit because the callers started getting on my nerves. "Um um, um..." over and over, most of them sounded like either they were 90 yrs old and suffering from the early onset of senile dementia or had been up all night on a drunken bender. Great guests, but very few coherent or intelligent questions from the callers seemed to me a real waste of a potentially great guest.

28. ugh
I turned it on for 10 minutes today. I don't know why, I've been pretty good about not watching,

Ok, I had kind of thought that Chuck Todd was a dick lately but I take it back. I would go mad if I had to deal with these buttholes every morning. First of all, Jack Welch is a sniveling pinkshirt piece of shit. Secondly, Chuck Todd only comes on Morning Joe for like 15 minutes, to give his analysis and what he's hearing from the White House. Joe can't even stand that and has to keep interrupting with his "NO! IT WAS PELOSI! WHEN IIIIII WAS IN CONGRESS......NO! NO!" Chuck Todd looked annoyed, and rightfully so. Don't blame Todd for what he's hearing from the White House, Joe. And, hate to break it to you, but how freaking long have you been away? You are a Congress has been, and things may have changed and power shifts may have occurred that escape you.

30. Hey, did you know that Joe Scarborough was once a congressman?
;-)

Jesus, that asshole throws his insignificant handful of years in Congress out at least 17 times per morning. It's hysterical. Were it not so early, it would make for a most excellent drinking game!

Chuck Todd was great this morning, and he could barely contain his contempt for Joe's constant interruptions. LOVED the way Sen. Webb came on shortly after that segment and told the Morning Poison Zoo Crew that Chuck Todd was absolutely correct. :-)

31. Damn
Well damn. Wish I'd seen that. I swore off Morning Joe because I found myself screaming at the TV too much. My 6-year-old always walks in when he's on and says, 'Oh, is that that guy who talks over everyone again and won't let anyone else talk?" God love her.

Anyway, nice to hear Todd is finally stepping up a bit. He's been such a tool for such a long time that I gave up on him, too.

and later, right after Morning Joe when the newshour was started for 9, they had Chuck Todd on again and he was saying that the stimulus is a "beltway" controversy, and that while some people might have a few questions about it in Middle America, they still want it to happen. And he said that the Obama team was not prepared to correct some of the things that Republicans were saying about the stimulus bill. Oh yeah, another thing he said on Morning Joe. He said that Republican appointments probably catch people's attention more as a sign of bipartisanship, and they don't really pay attention to party breakdown on the votes for the most part. Oooh, Joe did NOT like that one bit, hehe.
