Chris Wallace's Grandson Is "Completely Obsessed" With Obama; wont sleep unless told Obama is asleep
Yes, it is Chris Wallace and Faux News but it is a cute story.

Chris Wallace: My Grandson Is "Completely Obsessed" With Obama

Fox News' Chris Wallace spoke to Politico about his interview with President Obama Tuesday. Wallace, who Obama said on-air has "always been gracious" towards him, told Politico that he instructed the President to have more "energy" in their interview, not "emotion" as reported by one media blog.

Wallace also told Obama that his three-year-old grandson, William, is a huge fan of the President's — so much so that he won't go to sleep unless he's told Obama is asleep:

Meanwhile, before air, Wallace also told Obama a story of his 3-year-old grandson, William and of course whipped out a photo for the President. His grandson apparently, is a huge Obama supporter. "He's been watching with his mom and has become completely obsessed," Wallace tells us, "so much so he refuses to go to bed. And the only way that his mother could get him to sleep is, he'll say 'Is Obama asleep?' And his mother will say 'yes' and he'll respond with "OK then I'll go to sleep.'" This is at 8:15p.m., by the way. Obama loved this story and 20 minutes later, after the interview ended he said "Be sure to say to William for me.'"

Wallace also had high praise for thew new President.

"The thing that struck me the most was how easily and how comfortably he wears the mantle of the Presidency," he said. "He seems completely at ease with the job and the trappings and the responsibilities and seemed completely serene - and it was a tough day yesterday."

11. This is true
You never saw a baby crying in his arms. The way he held the babies and the children was like they were his own children. I love that about him.

18. I used to think that was an Old Wive's Tale, but I'm a believer now!
I have NEVER seen a "bad" picture of Barack and a baby (or a child!), Most are variants of this:

Admittedly, that photo of Bush gingerly (and awkwardly) holding a squalling baby was probably cherry-picked. But has anyone here EVER seen a "good" photo of Bush and a baby?

One more photo of Obama that I'd like to add to my collection was one of a little girl happily giving Barack a "High Five". Anyone here have it?

19. Yeah, the proof is in hundreds of
pics. That picture you're talking about sounds sweet but I haven't seen it.

21. that is so precious
I am such a huge sucker for men who are truly comfortable with children. It's a double standard, I know, but I'm old enough to have grown up when not many dads were as hands-on as Obama. (My dad was, though--yeah!!!)

are avid fans of The President. The 16 year old made calls during the campaign. I am so proud.

7. When Obama is on
the television my Granddaughter stops whatever she is doing and sits and listens and when he is done talking she goes back to what she was doing. If we are in the kitchen she will yell, "Poppy, Gamma, Rock Abama is on TV". She is totally captivated by him.

10. President Obama definitely has a special-something the kiddies see...
My four year old son always points to him excitedly if he sees his picture on a magazine or TV. Neither he or his older sister ever paid any attention to our former President.

17. Yeah, my kids love Obama but never paid attention to Bush.
Maybe because that's because I had to change the channel whenever that man's voice came on...

14. When we go into CVS my 3 year old recognizes Prez Obama on the magazines
She says its "Ba-rack". My older daughter, the 4 year old, likes Hillary though because she "is a girl". She was excited when I told her she was working for Barack now. LOL. Kids, they are funny.

"Obama just called, he is putting away ALL his toys."
"Obama is being quiet right this very minute!"
"Obama is nice to his sister."

Just imagine the possibilities. :)

24. I think seeing Obama with Sasha and Malia gives kids a comfortable feeling about him
Seeing him with those girls shows what a warm and genuine person he is and kids can certainly 'get' it.

That's a cute story.

then I realized he was only 3. If he was older (like 8 or something) he would think that was the coolest thing ever. lol
