Please critique my letters to my Senators...

Ok, for the first time ever, I'm writing my congressmen. Here's what I have, lemme know if I need to add anything or change anything or if the whole thing sounds stupid. :)

Sen. Corker/Alexander (depending on who I'm sending it to)

I am writing to ask you to vote IN FAVOR of the Stimulus Bill.

Like most Americans, I have no desire to see our current economic crisis further mired in partisan showmanship.

You did the correct thing by going against the GOP with the Holder vote and I thank you for that. I'm asking you to, once again, do what's best for your constituents and not your party and vote YES on the stimulus bill.

My feeling is that the subject line in the email is super important, and that shorter is better.
