What is wrong with these people?
I'm listening to Lindsay Graham now. I really wonder if they just say stuff no matter how misleading or blatantly untrue and just hope it sticks. They hope people aren't paying attention.

And its frustrating to me that they seem to be more organized and aggressive with their lies than we are correcting them.

1. I read a piece in a PR industry publication last summer
About how people generally believe the first thing they hear on a subject, and even if the information is debunked, they will likely only remember and believe the original lie.

I think the GOP is counting on this.

5. That is what I hate about the media
The media don't provide factual information. They let people make all sorts of statements, but they never call people on their lies.

I got frustrated frequently during the election when McCain would totally lie about Obama's tax plans. He just wants to raise your taxes. Actually, he wanted to raise taxes on the 5% of workers making over $250,000 and give tax breaks to 95% of workers when he was a candidate. All these repukes were saying all this crap about how he was going to lower the $250,000 figure so soon people making $100,000 would have their taxes go up. That was just a total myth, but no media person asked for proof. They should have asked McCain to say when Obama said he was raising everyones takes. Unfortunately, some people just believe what they hear. When the media doesn't hold Repukes accountable for what they say, they make the Repukes seem credible.
