Morning Joe just now was f*cking pathetic.
Why do I even watch this loser anymore? Then Mika and Pat were just parroting his same stupid talking points. Obama's speech Thursday night ROCKED, but all of a sudden Friday morning rolls around and Morning Joe is spinning the same Republican bullshit as usual.

Except I don't think there is a Elton John/Bernie Taupin lyric with that.

Also, I don't think of pirates as being big on grammar, usually.

35. It wasn't when the OP posted it. It was kind of a joke because we know the
same bullshit Joe is going to regurgitate every morning so the OP, of course, ended up being accurate even if posted 5 or 6 hours before the show actually started. :)

16. One of them was talking about what his liberal friends tell him
Highlighting the fact that they had no liberals on the show.

Mika is one of those types of women who irritate the hell out of me. It's like a stern shrewishness that is totally annoying.

This stuff is useful for getting me mad enough to get the energy to get out of bed.

But Pat Buchanan - no, I have to mute that.

And earlier, Tweety was criticizing Obama's ums. Maybe you don't say um, Tweety, but your voice is irritating, unlike the President's.

29. Post about it on a message board.
Commiserate with others that continually have the hand/fork problem on a daily basis.

Question ethics of doctor making diagnosis.

Blame the fork for a hand problem.

Blame the hand for not moving out of the way of the fork.

Question diagnosis. Might actually be vision related, as opposed to co-ordination.

Continue self-abuse as it garners sympathy from others with same hand/fork self-destructive behavior.

Explain that you have to stick your hand with a fork, so others will know what you are up to.

Find that ignoring hand will not keep it from getting a fork stuck in it anyway.

Wonder if today will be different from yesterday, and no forks will get stuck in your hand.

Nope.

Got fork stuck in hand again today.

Wonder if it will happen on Monday.

Will update when hand gets fork stuck in it again beginning next week, and complain about it hurting just as much as last time it happened.

Never watched it since. I have no use for him even on his good days, I usually find less ridiculous opinions on CNN2's morning show.

I can't understand why people watch such junk since it is so offensive and just plain stupidly wrong. There is enough shit in life you can't avoid, why go out of your way looking for more....

31. The most maddening part to me this morning was Joe's attempt to rewrite history... again.
Edited on Fri Feb-06-09 10:19 AM by VolcanoJen
When he was going up against Krugman (and having his ass handed to him), he insisted that Obama should embrace bipartisanship because LOOK!! LOOK AT HOW AWESOME THE CONTRACT FOR AMERICA WORKED WITH CLINTON! We worked together, with the President, to give you that awesome economy we had in the 90's!!! If it weren't for Republicans, there wouldn't have been an awesome economy, Joe insisted.

I was nauseated. Bipartisanship? In the 90's??? We had nothing, nothing but gridlock once those Gingrich losers showed up. They shut down the federal government! THEY IMPEACHED THE PRESIDENT OVER A BLOW JOB.

Bipartisanship? Joe's using the Clinton Model as a way to show Obama he should work with Republicans? You have got to be freaking kidding me.

33. Yes, it was scab being his delusional self and...
of course he had to get tweety to assure him he was right and krugman was wrong about the bullshit notion he has about there being bi-partisanship in the 90's, and tweety was of course was only to happy to accomodate him in his delusional fantasies. krugman made joe look like an out of touch idiot.

I loved it when scab invited krugman to come to new york to his studio and spend hours talking about the economy and the stimulus bill, to which krugman answered "I really don't know if I'd have the time". scab looked incredulous that someone would turn down an offer to spend hours listening to him
wax poetic about his time in congress and his bullshit rw talking points in between lambasting mika.

37. Krugman was awesome!
In fact, when Joe invited him to the studio, I'm pretty certain Krugman actually rolled his eyes!!

Oh GAWD and Mika Mouse. "Here's what we're going to talk about today: What's the hurry? What's the hurry? Why so urgent? This is just like the lead-up to the Iraq War!!!!"

I was kinda bummed that the January Jobs Report came out in the last half-hour of the show. Because, Joe, Mika, Barnicle, Tweety, Buchanan, et al? THAT JOBS REPORT ILLUSTRATED PERFECTLY WHY THERE IS A SENSE OF URGENCY. Wankers, the lot of them.

What a swine.

"Obama hasn't done anything to explain what's in the Stimulus package. It's like someone not showing you what's under the hood or the tires..."

Is Matthews a substance abuser? Does he sleep with his fucking eyes open? Has he been on vacation?

When I heard Pat Buchanan try to outdo Moron Joe with the DC war stories, it was time to turn the crap off.

36. Tweety runs hot and cold. It is impossible to predict, day to day...
... how he's going to feel about this issue, or that issue.

He was an embarrassment on Morning Poison today. But, he also helped prove a growing consensus that Chuck Todd pointed out rather saliently yesterday: The "poutrage" over the stimulus package is a Beltway-Only phenomenon.

39. Stop watching it and the line-up might change. As long as you are tuned in you are aiding and
abetting them.

Just think of it this way:

Low information voters are watching schlock like the Today show and GMA at that hour.

RWers are watching those clowns over on Fox News.

The majority of Joe and Mika's audience are coming from fans of MSNBC, mainly those who LIKE Keith and Rachel.

If every single last DUer and Kosian, et. al., turned these jerks off, I guarantee you that the line-up would change.

Right now, I'm sure they get the lowest ratings of any "news" morning program on TV. But they have to justify having them on and if it dips much lower, the execs at MSNBC would think, "Hmmmm, maybe we should just change the line-up to appeal to our loyal and dedicated evening audience."

Remember it's on cable, so you don't have to be a Neilsen house in order for them to track how much you watch. If they can get you to tune in for 10-20 minutes and a few ad cycles, since they are the least watched, that's good enough for their bottom line.

TURN.IT.OFF. And.....it just might have an affect.
