Seriously, though.

What we need is less freaking out and more organization. We all joined together before in a time of crises. Sure, not everyone had one single common goal at the beginning, but in the end we were able together to further one single purpose.

To get OUR GUY elected as President of the United States.

Great - we help put him there. Now how can we help HIS purpose to restore our badly, hell, almost fatally wounded nation heal from the last 8 years of chaos, destruction, and flat out pernicious greed of our last administration.

Many people I know don't seem to have a clear view of the fact that our new president is blazing a trail for our future as a nation! He cannot just say so and make it so. We know that building a road takes hard physical labor. I believe he is not just building one path but planning a master network of roads that will lead us forward. What can WE do to help him build it? Is there something, anything you can do to help? Think about it and please do it. Today.

What do you think should be done about our failing economy? Do you believe the stimulus package will help slow and eventually stop our seeming rapid descent into a full on depression, evolve our economy, create new jobs and a healthier greener nation? And if you so believe, are you actively doing anything to help the plan come to fruition? Are you talking with family, friends, neighbors to convince them as well? Are you calling your local Demcratic organisation? You know the people who y'all came together with to elect a president? What can we give or share?

Share your wealth.
Take it to the streets - buy as many goceries and sundries at your local green markets - esp as we head into our spring. Shop wisely and you can still save money and get better quality food. Buy local! Support your small local stores vs buying at Walmart.
