Hey, Lieberman is pretending to be a Democrat today
Arguing for the stimulus on the Senate floor - although whining for 'centrist' leadership in providing bipartianship.

1. Pretending is the operative word.
I think he is seeking political cover He suspects the bill will fail even with his support, so he has nothing to lose. It will boost his ratings as voting with the Dems.

2. Let him preen, poster, and whine all he likes.
All that's needed here is his vote.

3. Obama owns Lieberman. LOL!
Because he wouldn't let dems kick him out, Lieberman has to now prove he's on board with everything. It was an incredibly smart move by Obama. Of ocurse, the revenge seekers here didn't like it.

4. DiFi just slammed the bill
Mainly on tax cuts but, correct me if I'm wrong, she came out against the bill. I had to take a work phone call during her speech, but it sure seemed to me she was not for the bill.

9. She's my senator. That pisses me off. I called and faxed about it too.
Time to get back to the phone I guess.

11. So DiFi is thinking of siding with Republicans while Lieberman will side with Democrats
instructive.

13. DiFi's policy = Lieberman's perceived policy.
DiFi is the realization of what LIeberman would be if his actions and rhetoric ever actually coincided with his policies. For all that fucktard does, he's usually fairly liberal. (I think 5 puppies just died in the typing of that sentence.)

5. Lieberman
I was wrong on the move not to kick him out of the caucus. Now he Is voting more and more Obama's way.He has even voted when Mccain
voted against Obama like a Dem.This Is all for his survival. He needs Obama not to endorse a real democrat In 2012.Hell he may even
try to get Obama's support and try to make people forget his support on Mccain and attacks on Obama with Palin.

6. Lieberman has always been a very reliable vote on just about everything

not somehow involving Israel or terrorism. However, if you dangle a picture of either an F-22 or a suicide bomber in front of him, he suddenly turns into a raving right-winger.

10. Damn it, stop telling the truth!
Lieberman is actually more progressive than most of the senate on environmental issues, and has a damn good record on labor, education, and health care issues. I find it amusing that so many DUers fawn over Lincoln Chaffee, who had a 50% AFL-CIO rating, and smash Lieberman, who has a lifetime rating around 90%.

12. Sadly, this is true.
I say sadly because it is far, far too easy to hate that fucker, and I prefer to continue doing so. No, I'm not being sarcastic either. For me, it's an inconvenient truth far bigger than Al Gore's.
