8. I live in SC, but I was born and raised in Va., which is where my heart and family are.

Once a Virginian, always a Virginian. Hopefully, I'll move back one day (if the economy ever recovers and I can get the house sold).
I was stationed at the Navy Hospital in Charleston when I retired from active duty, took a job as a contract nurse there, then went to work for a primate sanctuary as a "nanny" for a little gibbon (best job ever!).
Thought I was going to move back home last spring, but that's when the bottom started dropping out of the housing market. So, Va. finally goes Blue and here I am stuck in the reddest of the red states, doing missionary work for the Dems!:hi:

you better believe I'm calling. Reminding them that McConnell won by a very slim margin this last election and that they had better start voting with their constituents in mind. I've had it with MConnell's obstructions to progress. He's the epitome of the tired worn out ideas that brought us to this crisis and I remind them that I, and my family and friends are paying attention and have very long memories. I'm also letting them know that I will consider his vote against the stimulus as permission for me to send my bills directly to him-as he will be directly responsible for financial well being if he votes against this, and I along with my creditors expect to have my bills paid in full every month.
I've just had it with these people.
