3. As the DEmocratic leader of the Senate he is supposed to control the agenda the votes and what
happens. He constantly caves into rePIGlicker threats and gives away his power instead of fighting.

4. He's just weak.........
has no spine, he caves in to Republicans, he is afraid of Republicans, is'nt very outspoken, fear filibusters even though the Democrats are in charge, and he's just a bad majority leader.

9. He capitulates at the mere threat of a filibuster
He would be a lot more respected around here if he called Mitchy Mac on his bullshit threats and dared him to actually filibuster bills, and then stuck it out. Even Reid he lost in the end, he'd be much more respected.

10. I don't know him personally, or how he works behind the scenes. But I am concerned...
...that Democratic Senator's names were being thrown out there as being not quite on board, considering we've got the first Democratic President with a clear mandate to enter the office in some time. I would truly hope we could act like adults, or have strong enough leaders in our party to have the forcefulness, to keep party discipline in the Senate, at the very least, to give him his first victory.

I don't expect it from the House, but in the Senate, a strong enough leader should have been able to twist arms behind the scenes, without the dissension in our ranks becoming public. Think LBJ.

Not exactly someone I want representing my party.

13. 'cause he's a bit of a wimp.
He caves to others' (Re: Repukes') demands rather too quickly to most people's tastes.

I think we'd do better if we had a firebrand as ML. Reid would rather play softball when the Repukes clearly intend to play hardball.

14. My biggest problem with Mr. Reid is that when he speaks he projects ZERO sense of stature or

leadership. He speaks in a very slow monotone and in language that suggests he has no conviction behind the words he puts into sentences. He may very well have more good intention hiding inside, but a huge measure of success for a man or woman in his position comes from their ability to convince an audience through rhetoric and confident presence that they will get things done.

To me, Boxer is the perfect antithesis to Reid's much more docile and passive approach. She is stern, formidable, willing to confront an opponent, and not shy about using blunt language when necessary. When dealing with the pukes, docile and passive are not the ways to win and definitely not the ways to assert majority control, which Reid has.

17. He can make reThugs filibuster for 30 hours instead of obstructing the vote, it's only 3 days and...
...they wont take 3 days before they hit the floor in exhaustion.

He wont do this, that's no "scapegoating"
