Lesson for Obama: Congressional Republicans Are Your Enemy

They will not cooperate with you at all in doing anything to rescue this nation. Nothing. They are pure ideologues who will cling to their failed policies until the day they die.

Thus, whatever policy you want to craft for any issue, you need to see the Republicans as your enemy.

My advice to you is use the people. Get back on the campaign trail. In particular, talk with young people. The old DC establishment pols, Reid, Pelosi, and Rahm, failed you on the stimulus. They failed big time. They walked you into a trap.

Go outside of Washington. Go to the people.

Right now, you are the most famous, most charismatic person on the entire planet. The world wants you to succeed. Fuck that chinless wonder Mitch McConnell. Don't let that asshole get the better of you. Sure, Mitch owns the old, racist vote of Kentucky, but not the young people of Kentucky. If you held a rally at the Univ. of Kentucky, it would be the biggest spectacle in the state.

In sum, fuck the Republicans, and get with the people.

I'm not one to trust Repukes regardless of the words that come out of their mouth! McConnell is a PRIME example, and let's not ever forget Boehner!!!

Only time will tell, but I think Obama is going to have to stand tall and fight back in the end. I could be wrong, but my gut say NO!!!

To chip away at O's popularity. Every dog on every station...eating away at the stimulus bill, at Obama's dress code, at Obama's not meeting with Repubs (a lie, that one...since he of course met more than once with Republicans), at Obama's picking tax evaders for key appointments.

This is what the Repubs are all about. They are expert politicians. Their goal is NOT to do what's best for the country. Their goal is to WIN the next election.

I hope O and his staff have gotten it. It's all about politics with them.

He's letting them hang themselves. I think Obama and his team have full confidence in this bill's ability to stimulate the economy, and once it does it will be the republicans who look like the bad guys.

Jeeez Obama is the stupidest pol ever to come down the pike. Didn't know the republicans are enemies. Didn't know they would refuse to cooperate. You gus are so much smarter, but you don't know a set-up when you see one.
