Saw VP Biden speaking in Europe this morning live on MSNBC.
It was a great feeling not to be ashamed of the person representing our country. I hated when W went elsewhere to speak or meet with other heads of state - I always got the feeling they laughed at him behind his back, and laughed at all of us for having such a dumbass as our president.

Biden was s opposite of that, it was refreshing to watch.

Don't know if any other network even bothered to cover it.

2. Last night, during the debate on the jobs bill, someone mentioned the VP...
...possibly being a tie-breaker, if needed. For a split second, I felt ill until I remembered it wouldn't be Cheney.;)

4. I'll bet they had to have teams of interpreters working in relays, each one
stepping in to take over as others dropped out from fatigue.
