3. My favorites though are the ones with those great shirts......
and the lighter blue outfit on her day out to the Restaurant.

She's earning her fashion creds quite effortlessly!

10. I would hate to be her. Imagine having to be fabulous every
minute of every day. She is so beautiful she could make a gunny sack look good but imagine the strain. I would love to see the size of her closet. GO, MICHELLE!

15. Yes, but you can tell that her make-up, at least, is minimal
when she's in non-formal settings, like in most of those pictured in the OP. I think it's pretty cool that she doesn't feel the need to look 'fabulous' like at Alvin Ailey all the time...says a lot about her and her self-confidence. Very different from Laura Bush, or, I imagine, Cindy McCain.

12. Wow, Frenchie! You don't mess around..
Even your "superficiality" isn't superficial. Those are fantastic pics of the First Lady and her outfits are dressed to kill!

I got this US mag still on the stands with Michelle and the girls looking ever so beautiful! Eight pages of stunning photos of the happy First Family:D

US magazine is part of the Rolling Stone Family that helped get the facts out during the primaries and the General..Love the publisher, Jann Werner, ..he's priceless.

issue of everything I see on the stands with the Obamas featured. I've always been interested in fascinating stories and this has it all.

17. I think she's finally figured out the importance of solid colors....
.... and how much better they do on TV.

(and LOL! at that pic of Sasha.)

But ultimately, I think we all take comfort in the knowledge Michelle understands that being a good mom, wife and First Lady have much much much more to do with how you ACT than how you LOOK.

And as for how she CARRIES herself and sets a good example for all of us, *I* would give her a big old...

19. Good Lord, that 's a fabulous-looking woman.
So elegant and chic and tasteful and modern!

DANG! I think I'm loving her even more than I'm loving him! As an American woman, THAT is now MY face to the world. HERS is now MY face to the world. SHE is the one representing me to the world. laura bush didn't represent me at all. Nor could she ever hope to speak for me. And hers was NOT MY face to the world - could never be. Only now do I feel like I have proper - and legal - representation.

Sorry to break it to you, cindy mcsame. But I had very little about which to be proud of my country during the last eight years. And even before that, while your republi-CON friends were persecuting Bill Clinton for a frickin' blow job. Maybe you were proud of that, but I wasn't. Only NOW am I feeling a sense of pride again. And Michelle Obama is a BIG reason why.
