"I'm afraid (we House Republicans) won't stick together" |
|
Rep. Richard Shelby is HOPING the House GOP will "stick together" and shelve the bill when it reaches the House later this week. "I'm afraid we wont stick together..." he conceed to John King this morning on CNN.
Ignore all of this posturing that they're doing, they know they can't just step aside and let the Dems do whatever they like. Their egos and pride wont let them. What the GOP members of the House is doing are the last writings of a dying breed.
They're screwed and they know it. The bill will pass .... it wont be perfect, but it will be the best of a really bad situation and we'll make the first step on the road to recovery.

2. How could the GOP "shelve the bill" even if they did "stick together"? |
|
There are plenty of Dems in the House to pass it.

Do they want to see a total collapse of this nation? Do they want to destroy the Democrats and Obama that badly that they would do it at the cost of the nation?
What kind of stupid fucker wants to completely destroy the country for some stupid fucking political gain?

She will add more spending and knock off some of those tax cuts

7. I Think Senator Shelby |
|
the prick from Alabama forgets that the pukes in the house don't have the numbers or the option of a filibuster. Fuck him and all who follow his advice.

9. Something wrong with this story -- Shelby is a Senator and House Repubs cannot block the bill.. |
|
even if they did stick together. They voted 100% against it the first time and it still passed easily.

10. The stimulus package helps stimulate the economy |
|
It may not be a complete cure, but it sure as hell isn't a reason to reject it. The Republican's will be rejected for at least 16 years with a move like this. But more importantly the economy needs help.
