I just went to go check Fark.com and got his by this one!

It's real, too... goes to a NewsMax poll!

Ah, memories, memories... the rise and complete collapse of McCain/Palin '08.

:sniff:

Those were fun times...

3. If he's smart he'll go with Huckster.
Or, if he wants a woman, Kay Bailey Hutchinson is qualified. Or maybe Condi.

4. Nah, he needs Pennsylvania. Santorum, that's the guy.
Heard he's been looking for a job for a couple of years now. And remember, in the GOP you fail upwards!

7. Nah, not Huckabee
I know the base is supposedly not too enamored of McCain, but Huck is a snake-handling fundie lunatic from a state that's already in McCain's column anyway, and McCain is way too sensible to pick someone like that...

17. If he picks Pawlenty we're screwed for sure.
We can just write off Minnesota, and Wisconsin's probably gone too.

12. Re: Your National Debt Chart in sig line. Some sources for others to use.
forgive the off-topic nature of this reply, but for anyone who wants to download the National Debt Chart in your sig line:

http://www.lafn.org/gvdc/Natl_Debt_Chart.html

a few different file types and sized to download and email to "those less enlightened".

:patriot:

PS, I know nothing about lafn.org, just found it by Google Image search.

19. If he could get one of Maine's two moderate female senators--we might have some problems.
Edited on Mon Feb-09-09 09:28 AM by book_worm
but the far right would veto them. Somebody said that he heard that the Governor of Alaska, a Sarah something or other might be in the race for VP. Alaska? What will that add only 3 electoral votes. I can't see it happening.
