Lieberman said he believes hospitals that refuse to give contraceptives to rape victims for "principled reasons" shouldn't be forced to do so.

"In Connecticut, it shouldn't take more than a short ride to get to another hospital," he said.

Lieberman just goes whichever way the wind blows. From 2005-2008, he lurched towards the right. Now that Obama got elected (and stood up for Lieberman, no less), Lieberman has moved back to the left.

I just went over the official senate list....Including Kennedy and Sanders, we have 55, with Lieberman, Specter, Collins and Snow we have 59. So did they mispeak? Am I counting wrong? There are still two votes that I can't account for.

In the old Senate, we'd have had 51 with Lieberman and Sanders.
