The best compliment you can give such a brilliant, critically thinking person is to maintain a level of critical thinking yourself - that means "complete trust" is not a phrase that should come into your vocabulary.

As my dad used to say, "trust but verify." Obama deserves our scrutiny, our critical reflection and our careful skepticism of everything he does. That's our duty to our representatives, as I believe Obama would say himself.
