10. Me too....especially when I looked intently at her face and understood

her very slight hesitation to tell the President of The United States her name.
I understand the need to swallow and say, "My name is Henrietta Hughes."
"I live in my car." "I would like to have a kitchen and a bathroom."
She put it ALL out there for the world to witness.
I am imagining what Henrietta had to do just to be able to attend this Town Hall meeting.
I am imagining just the logistics involved for her this morning.
She lives in a CAR! Yet, here she was, dressed as pretty as can be and her hair done neatly...she came to see her President.
At her age...she probably NEVER imagined it would come to this. She is homeless and lives in a car..and she wants some dignity. Dignity.
I think that's why she had tears and put her pride aside.
President Obama....my name is Henrietta Hughes...and I would like some help.

I'm one of those people who are literally hanging on to a thread waiting for this stimulus package to go through. That measly $25 more a week in unemployment comp? I NEED that. Those jobs in the package? I'm praying that one of those sidebar admin jobs comes my way, because there's really nothing out there that pays enough to pay my mortgage - and I AM interviewing fairly often. This bill is no joke. It really does have people's lives hanging in the balance.
