Did a Bush loyalist may have leak story about Gitmo detainee who rejoined al Khaida after being released from Gitmo? Story was printed by NYT (any fact checking?) one day after Obama announced closure of Guantanamo.

Keith Olberman declared these stories of terrorists released from Gitmo rejoining fight as probably propaganda.

1. Before the election, Betrayus said he wouldn't agree to Iraq troop withdrawals, no matter who was elected. Then he repeated something similar on or near Inauguration Day.

2. The military commissions judge who said he wasn't going to obey President Obama's order to suspend all Gitmo trials.

Michael Collins (known here as Autorank) has a column about this, in which he discusses Def Sec Gates actions with regard to these chain-of-command problems. Collins believes that Obama's order to the generals to come up with a "plan" for Afghanistan, before agrees to troop "surges" was a signal to the military that he had had it with the above instances of disobedience.
