Obama administration sending delegation to Special Olympics in Boise, Idaho
"Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to arrive in Boise Thursday at 10:15 a.m. and leave in the afternoon after he views a Special Olympics event and hosts a reception for Special Olympic athletes, their families and volunteers, according to a White House press release.

Biden will visit with a delegation of nine dignitaries, including Idaho Congressman Walt Minnick, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Olympic Figure Skater Michelle Kwan.

Biden will watch the final round of the figure skating competition at Qwest Arena (scheduled for 10:30 a.m.) and present medals to winners. He will then visit the Special Olympics' Healthy Athletes Event before a reception."http://www.idahopress.com/news/?id=19803

Awww, this is very nice of them. The athletes who participate in the Special Olympics have to overcome so much. And no Bush around to embarrass anyone.

2. I think his official title has become "Ambassador to all things neglected"
It's a great role for him to play, being both the savvy politician and natural people person that he is.

3. I think some of these things are stuff that Barack and Michelle would like to go to
and can't right now, so they send Joe. And Joe will love it, he is a people person!

7. Joe loves doing these things
I'm so glad that after Joe's long years of service in the Senate he has the VP job now. He can be an advisor and an ambassador.

12. No ..... Joe and Jill figure skating and then.....
..... Jill sits out a loop and let you skate around the rink with the Wintery Fox! (not anything fancy, just old school, hand in hand skating.) That would be fun. :)
