Gregg Doing it for his Repub buddies?!
I got the feeling because of the movement of the stimulus bill Gregg might be staying on so that he can help his Repub buddies in future bills in the Senate. It's not about Obama so much personally, but more so with probable political pressure from his Repub buddies who are getting ousted by Dems all over the place. He would have been another one.

face.

No more appeasing.

5. He seemed to have admitted it. He just said it came to him over the week & 1/2.
All that drama over the stimulus bill was during the last two weeks. He's just under a lot of pressure from his people. I really don't think it's even that ideological...it's about his Republican people.

9. We need Franken seated and Ted Kennedy healthy....
It's gonna be a long twenty one months til mid terms and we need all hands on deck. These assholes are not gonna give an inch and have made it more than clear at this point that they intend to obstruct at every turn. Every time Obama reaches across the aisle they crap on him, every time he extends an olive branch, they throw it right back in his face. FUX news takes every innocent statement by any dem along with every piece of legislation and then picks it apart and disseminates out and out lies and propaganda 24/7 now. I say let them whine and wail all they want. I'm for just ignoring them and let them slip away into obscurity like the obsolete party of dinosaurs they have become.

12. I'm thinkin he's not as clean as he'd have us believe, and
backed out before things got too ugly.

I'm pretty dissapointed, I was looking forward to having his replacement for the duration. :(

14. He didn't want to lose the census PLUS
He has an aide up to his ass in Abramoff-related scandals.

He's gone and that's what's important.
