Sorry, New Hampshire people, but you're fucked now.
One of your two Senators is a complete dick and will get absolutely nothing accomplished for you. I guarantee, he's burned bridges on both sides of the aisle and will now be a complete pariah in the Senate.

Lieberman has more goodwill than Gregg at this point in time. In fact, Lieberman is probably grinning that ugly smirk right now because somebody else is on top of the shit pile now.

1. At least he's resigning. If he wasn't, he would be toast.

3. That's not news (about Gregg)

I've been trying to vote him out of office for years. Him and his repub cohort Sununu.

Good riddance. He's done us no favors.

7. What "lies" to Lynch?
Lynch is a thinly disguised Republican who was more than willing to play patty-cake with Judd Gregg. Both are members in good standing of the Concord Don't Upset The Applecart Society.

8. We will be fine when Sen. Hodes takes over
Edited on Thu Feb-12-09 08:54 PM by SoxFan
The seat is going to turn blue in 2010 when Congressman Paul Hodes (D-Concord) wins. Hodes was an early Obama supporter, served as his national co-chair, and will receive plenty of assistance from the White House. Gregg is just a placeholder.

9. He will be on Maddow tonight
and did a live blog thing on bluehampshire.com

Yes, I think his support for Obama will benefit him (and you all up there!).
Us Bostonian Obamans certainly have some love for you guys.
I wonder what Hodes's campaign will look like?
I wonder if he'll rope in volunteers from down here.

12. In Gregg's case, if he can't do anything it's better than if he can do something.
I've lived in New Hampshire for 10 years and can't remember one positive thing the guy has accomplished. Let him sit at his desk playing solitaire until his term is up.
