I have worked with some special needs kids and they work so hard at trying to accomplish anything. They deserve some recognition.

27. A note about the scarves...

dedicated knitters and crocheters around the US were asked to make a scarf, donate it, and the Special Olympics would make sure each athlete received one, like a nice hug! Isn't that a cool idea? And I think Joe looks great! I bet some proud person at home is seeing his or her scarf in that photo. *sigh* I wish it were me!
