6. They are just pissed off that he circumvented the media

and began to talk directly to the American people. The poll numbers went up since Obama explained what was going on and what he was trying to achieve. He disabled most of their ability to spin the economic stimulus plan.

9. They don't like that Obama is connecting directly to the American people

which he can do because as President, they can't deny him coverage. He is going over their heads - and is great at it. Look at hiis poll numbers.

The terrific thing is that this is the first time a Democratic President could do this since the media shifted to the right. Clinton could only for a short time because there were things he preferred not to be asked questions on - which somewhat limited his ability to have the open question events.
