the same guy who twittered prematurely that the GOP was taking back the VA Senate, making the coup fail.
This guy is really a winner, as seen by his presentation of Lincoln and Darwin. Where do they find these guys.(video at the link)

JEFF FREDERICK MAKES A NAME FOR HIMSELF.... Virginia Republican Chairman Jeff Frederick ran into a little trouble this week when his Twittering foiled his own party's efforts in the state Senate. Yesterday, Frederick capped off the week with a speech about the significance of Feb. 12, 1809 -- the day both Abraham Lincoln and Charles Darwin were born.
First, paying tribute to Lincoln, Frederick explained, "Abraham Lincoln is best know , as you all well know, for freeing the slaves by issuing the Emancipation Proclamation affirming in his Gettyburg Address in 19, I'm sorry, 1863...."
From there, the state party chairman and state delegate, told the legislature, "Darwin, however, is best known for the theory of evolution, arguing that men are not only, quote, are only, not, not created, but they are not equal, as some are more evolved."
Seriously, how does one even start to respond to a guy like this? More importantly, how does someone like this get elected to a state legislature, and get chosen to lead a state party in the 21st century?
Keep in mind, this is the same Jeff Frederick who told Republican canvassers in the fall to connect Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden.
As Josh Glasstetter explained, "It's pretty clear what direction Frederick is taking the Virginia GOP. No wonder the party has continued to lose ground under his tenure."
