Now Repuke congressmen are complaining about wasting time on a Steelers bill
Standard cut and paste stuff, purely ceremonial. So these assholes get up and waste time debating the need to honor the Steelers.

What would make this an issue, hmm, the owner backed Obama and Obama said he hoped the Steelers would win.

Another example of pukes acting as petulant children.

4. Obama could stand to improve his numbers in western Pennsylvania in 2012
He actually ran a few points behind John Kerry in 2004 in the western PA counties.

6. We do this for pretty much anyone who wins anything,
from the Super Bowl to second place spicy dill pickles at the county fair.

7. I heard that and actually agree with it. I think it's stupid to waste
the people's time passing bills honoring sports teams.

8. Obama is very friendly with the owner of the Steelers
He even thanked Obama when they hoisted the trophy.

That's why the repukes are mad.

LOL!!!

9. Dan Rooney (REPUBLICAN) actively campaigned for Obama.
He went into the plants and mills and talked to the workers; urged them to vote for Obama. Couldn't be prouder of the Rooneys/Steelers; I bleed black and gold. :hi:
