By Astrological Sign?
The Washington Post has a summary of the Stimulus bill vote. And one can view it by party, region, boomer status or... astrological sign.

http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/111/senate/1/votes/64/?hpid=topnews

What can I say?

3. I'd like to see horoscope breakdown by party...
Edited on Sat Feb-14-09 01:34 AM by Clio the Leo
.... I dont seriously believe in astrology, but it's fun. Wonder if there's a correlation between party and sign.

I know of someone else who IS a Leo though. (Depending on which calendar you read, otherwise he's a Cancer.)

11. It's kind of weird, all the earth signs are Republicans and all the Water signs Democrats
Which is right about where the divide falls between liberal and conservative if I remember correctly.
I'm an atheist skeptic but it is still pretty interesting. I would love to do a survey.

Does anyone know where the air and fire signs fall on the spectrum?

40. Not 100% sure, but I'd be willing to bet that fire signs lean heavily liberal.
And I don't put a ton of stock into astrology, but I do believe, just from my own personal experiences, and my observations of people, there's a little something to it, even if it's not gospel.

34. Nah, is even possible for us Libras to truly be conservative?
We usually want the best for everybody and that means liberal policy.

36. Oh, I'm just looking at it from the viewpoint
of even having multiple choices to begin with, whatever they are. If nothing else, Libras always want to be fair

Linda Goodman (in her book "Sun Signs") got a pretty good grasp on it, I think...

She said that if a Libran is arguing one side of an issue, he or she can just as easily turn around and argue the other side as well, even if he or she doesn't really believe in the other side.

It just sort of happens...

;)
