...friends around.

OMG! Air Force One? Izzat cool or what!
By Clarence Page

Okay, so the White House calls and tells you that President Obama is heading back to Chicago for the weekend on Air Force one and wants to know if you want to fly with him. So what would you do?

Road trip!

Music, to which we had no time to listen, was categorized into jazz, country, classical and "popology," among other genres. Currently spotlighted albums were by Gnarls Barkley, John Legend and Duffy. I was amused to see alongside the obligatory Madonna, Rihanna and Coldplay a single titled "I Hate this Part" by the Pussycat Dolls. I wonder if Air Force One featured the Pussycat Dolls when President Bush 43 was flying his evangelical friends around. Just wondering.

Air Force One is not the plane but the air traffic designation of any plane that is carrying the president. This modified Boeing 747 is one of two that are kept at Andrews Air Force Base, where we boarded.

Remember: we were in the VIP section as guests of the POTUS. The working press do not usually get treated nearly this well.
