yet they explain that this money had already been promised to GM by Bush.

So is it "Getting another", or "Getting the rest of..."????

Also, the host keeps saying Obama owns this economy beginning tomorrow. He has said that 5 times already. I guess they are picking up the rush meme "Obama Recession". Interesting.

Yup, it was Bush. Plus, the contract went to Lockheed, which had NO experience building helicopters. Needless to say, there've been massive budget overruns; the project is totaling around twice as it was contracted (EACH copter will cost $400 million+, or more than both of the new Air Force Ones and a hangar to store them).

by CNN. The way they framed that piece on the helicopters you would have thought Obama was wildly spending badly needed resources on unnecessary things for his own comfort. CNN tows the corporate line every hour of the day and night. It is particularly egregious by Lou Dobbs and Wolf Blitzer.

15. At it again today. "McCain Country" feature piece.

They suck. I was at gym at 12:30 or so. They did a feature piece on a Texas town that voted 94% for McCain. They ran a large chiron on the bottom of the news "McCain Country" in big letters during the news. Then they did the report from this folksy rural town interviewing people who didnt know anyone who voted for Obama. Whatever the truth of the story the metamessage was divisive "we didnt vote for him" message made folksy.
