1. I wish this would end. Coleman should be ashamed of himself..
but I guess that will never happen.

2. If I'm from Minnesota, can I sue somebody for not allowing proper representation?
This whole thing is ridiculous.

4. That's exactly what I was going to ask about.
This is becoming ridiculous. Al Franken won this and then they keep pushing this forward and what about the people who voted. They're even saying they won't count Absentee Ballots. Seriously this situation is out of hand.

11. I loved Rachel's interview with your other senator last night...
she really highlighted the impact this was having on her staff, etc...

I'll let you borrow one of mine - you can pick: DeMint or Graham -- go ahead, we don't need them!! :)

6. It's a ridiculous exercise in delaying the inevitable 59 votes in the Senate.
$5000 a plate? Yikes.

7. Why don't the Minnesota Democrats stage a huge rally?
State it in front of the State Capitol demanding a stop to this farce. Hold huge rallies at Coleman's home and raise general hell.

9. Minnesotta
This shows there will be a Senator Franken. It Is only a matter of time.Republicans goal Is to keep Franken out of the senate as long
as possable.WHen he Is In the senate when Ted Kennedy Is well enough there would only be need for 1 of the moderate 3 Republicans to
cross over to end fillbusters.ANd this all shows what BS they are.If Al Gore or John Kerry would have done this shit just Imagne the
hell that would be on TV.

12. and yet.. the OFFICIAL recount happened..LIVE viewing, and they
Edited on Tue Feb-17-09 03:58 PM by SoCalDem
determined Franken the winner..:grr:

Why even HAVE a recount, if a panel of judges gets to override them and make their own decision?

So..they "decide" that Coleman "won", and then Franken sues, etc..rinse & repeat.. the only "winner"? lawyers:grr:

13. i have a question
wasn't coleman whining when franken wanted a recount in the first place? actually, it was an automatic recount because it was so close, but coleman kept complaining because franken had wanted a recount or something. and now, coleman won't give up. it's sickening. if it were the other way around, there would be a drumbeat for franken to quit holding things up. but because the republican is behind, he should just keep his state without one of its representatives.
