End Red State Welfare--and Stimulus Money!
The Red State morons have screamed for years how "da' guberment" sucks/is evil and they shouldn't pay none of them thar' taxes, blah, blah. BUT they are the first fat sows to waddle to the trough to suck down the slop. ( We get cents per dollar sent to the Feds in income tax and they make profits on their contributions)!!! Well, it's time to give these assholes what they go to church and pray for... NOTHING, nada, zero!...and throw in NO stimulus money either!

How much money flows into their economies for things like military bases and military contracts? Who do they think pays for that, the tooth fairy? How much per year are we spending on "natural" disaster clean-ups that hit about every other week that they seem to be so prone to? If they want to be so "independent" then it means it's time for them to also foot their own bills.

My brother tells me that this weekend little Lindsey Graham just about shit his drawers when Stephanopolis (sp?) told him his governor doesn't want to take any of the "stim" money. Yup, it's great to bitch . . as long as the juicy part of that fat pork is going to be thrown in the middle of his plate! Honest to God, I so want these bastards to finally understand the consequences of what comes out of their mouths! The hypocrisy is mind blowing.

1. I absolutely agree with this sentiment. Elections have consequences and so should votes
in Congress.

The red states have been parasites for far too long, sucking money from hard-working blue states and contributing NOTHING in return except repuke politicians who fuck over the entire nation.

Let them pay their own way.

4. Glad Arkansas is mostly a Blue state, except for Presidential elections....
If Blanche Lincoln needs any help keeping her seat in 2010 I will be out there working to make sure she keeps it, and they didn't even run anyone against Mark Pryor.

13. That's right. Arkansas has a Democratic Governor, 2 Democratic Senators
and 3 out of 4 of our Representatives are Democrats. I can't for the life of me understand why Arkansans vote for Republican Presidential candidates.

3. And while we're at it..
I'm all for denying the red state anti-science crowd the benefits of medical care.

Of course I don't really mean it, but only because of the brave and the few blue voters within those red states.

5. yeah right
Yeah lets judge everyone in all red States because of the actions of a few.
After all the poor people in those states don't deserve any help, they should just lose thier jobs and homes and health care and become homeless and die.

6. What about red states with blue governors?
Um, like Oklahoma. Brad Henry works his ass off for this state. So do the thousands of Dems who live here. We. Are. Outnumbered. But go ahead, punish us. That's cool.

9. What about residents of those red states who are Democrats?
It's not my fault I live in Texas and have dickheads for governor and senators.

I just lost my job and need the extra unemployment benefits and COBRA help. Don't punish us little people.

14. pretty hateful idea- sounds like what some stupid selfish republicans
have advocated.

The boundaries placed around 'states' aren't something individuals have any control over. NH was considered a 'red' state for a very long time- But there have always been many loyal Democrats here. If you have a problem with a politician like Lindsay Graham (I find him disgusting) then rail on him- But how does condemning all the people within a man made, geographical area, equal the kind of government that really CARES about individual citizens? A government that isn't looking out only for "us" but for the good of everyone, no matter where they live, what ethnic background they are, how much education they have or any other reason???

I understand being pissed off at the attitude of the loudmouth republican politicians, but your broad brush rage is just as wrong as the oppositions selfish, arrogant, 'compassionate conservatism'.
imo
