Pick two out of the three.......
I told my bitching Republican co-worker today the following:

You cannot have a strong, imperialistic, military with a world presence; social programs, and LOW TAXES.

You may pick two out of the three, but they may not be the same two out of three the rest of country desires.

Shut him right up.

1. Wow, I'm surprised. Most of them have been conditioned to say throw out the social programs.

4. I like it. Short and simple. Directly to the point. I hope it becomes a meme.

5. I think if you take out imperialistic
you can have all three.

The part that drives me crazy with Repubs is they always say we should run the Gov't like a business. But when military cuts are brought up they are off limits. So you take your largest variable cost item off the table!

6. Or you could add a fourth, police and safety, in which they could pick three out of four

and that one if picked would include police, fire and 2 million incarcerated prisoners.

7. Well, "low" is relative, anyway. What I consider low taxes for a millionaire, he may not.
The upper crust DO have low taxes, after deductions. And yes...THEY can have all three things. Difference is that they may not consider 15% taxes after deductions as low. I do.
