2. You think?
Everybody wants something,
Question is will we let him get anything done?

President Obama in there somewhere, under the Pile-on!

4. It is a little odd (even scary!)
It has been 29 days.

I am 100% satisfied.

5. Well, according to some,
He's gonna need to hurry to fuck up!

After all, he only has 1,431 days left, and 2,891 days if he's lucky.

7. Rome wasn't built in a day
Issue #1 that involves all of us is the current economic ventricular tachycardia.

Bill passed. Signed. Law.

I am really happy about that.

14. Not me--only 98%.
I want Geithner to step up to the plate. And don't get me started on Richardson, Daschle, Gregg, et al.

10. I hate it. It doesn't really make any sense.
We will see how it plays out.

I don't get the fund-raising angle of it. If he wanted "higher" office, then he should have just appointed himself to the Senate.

Were the funds for Blago '12 for President?

11. I believe it is a republican-created brouhaha.
Burris gave testimony and answered the questions he was asked. He turned in affidavits.

The questions were asked by Durkin, the guy who started all the yelling. If he had further questions, why didn't he ask at that time? Durkin is also quite partisan. He ran against Durbin for Senate a few years ago. He didn't do well.

The Tribune, a republican newspaper, is adding their voice to the cacophony. They want a special election. Of course they do. Republicans want a republican to take that seat from Burris. In the current atmosphere, it could happen.

I will be attending a county chairmen's association meeting in Springfield on Friday. When I come back, I will post as much of the poop as I dare. It is better not to discuss some things until necessary.

Illinois politics are such fun. Some of us are trying to clean things up. But the corruption is so deeply entrenched that this will not happen overnight.

15. This place will ONLY become weird....
.... when we're all in agreement, when there's only one thread started for each particular topic of the moment, and when we're all posting only POSITIVE news about the President.

And when that happens ....... I'm leavin! lol
