'Several Shots' Killed the Chimp, Why Did the Cartoonist Use Two Holes in the Chest?

In my opinion, he was trying to cram as much racist imagery in one cartoon as he could. He had a dead monkey, with white officers doing the killing. A 'Beware of Dog' sign.

Don't tell me the sign was for accuracy, because the shots were several to kill the chimp. The cartoonist used two side-by-side holes for a reason. Think about it. He could have used one in through the chest, or several in a grouping. It was intentional.

The monkey story was a sad one. You wonder what would drive an animal mad like that. What this heartbreaking story has in common with the stimulus package is beyond me. I look at the cartoon and the first thing I notice are the authoritarian cops depicted plugging holes in an animal, and making light of it. I wouldn't have seen it as racist until the asshat cartoonist mentioned the stimulus and "joking" about finding someone new to write it. My gut tells me this is racist, or somehow a violent depiction of how a small mind views our President. At the very least, this "cartoon" is sickening. I don't get the monkey/racist shit. I love monkeys, but I guess I really have to stoop to new depths to understand the racist mind. Anyway, we all know who authored the stimulus. I lay awake at night, an atheist, asking whatever is out there to protect President Obama and his family from scenarios like this. This shit is really hard for me to believe. It's so NOT funny. I don't do fake outrage, but this garbage is truly offensive.

Any good cartoonist knows that those bullet holes have to be very carefully placed to appear random if all they're supposed to be are bullet holes. I was annoyed when I first saw the cartoon by the way the chimpanzee's belly looks like a face. I don't know if it's really supposed to mean anything because while its obviously eye-catching, the message isn't conveyed clearly enough to be of much use. :shrug:

Obviously the law enforcement officers represent the Executive Branch (the branch that enforces the laws). Nancy Pelosi oversees the House of Representatives which wrote the first stimulus bill and must be represented by the monkey. The cartoon is clearly stating that Pelosi gets in line or Obama will have her murdered (ala Vince Foster).
