CNN is making it seem as though President Obama is asking for more and more money.

Yesterday, CNN made it seem like the GM 4 Billion request wasn't part of what they had been promised from Bush, when it was.

So, I want to know before I accuse them of distorting the facts (cause they know taxpayers hate the thought of giving up any more money).... because they apparently are selling the idea that this is additional money beyond the 350 Billion which was part of the original Bush Bail out 700 Billion.

1. Yes. Per KO, it's part of the other half of the TARP. I didn't know that,
and I like it. :D

I just cut that shit off. I get so sick of these fuckers. She did some crap piece showing people bitching about throwing tax dollars at a problem because people bought homes they couldn't afford. I wish every last motherfucker she showed loses their job tomorrow! Deal with that shit and still pay your mortgage! See how long you can work that out!

Fuck them all!

"More and more money" Whatever, get your facts straight AC instead of posing in the mirror all the time before you go on tv.

7. What's really funny? I have
cnn on front and center and missed that? I zoned it out.

I do know what KO said. And I do try to pay attention to him and Ms. Maddow. I love Rachel. She gets the guests, and she's very very smart and disarming. She is a truth seeker. I like that.

10. I'm watching the rachel replay and a lady from CA-
Karen Bass said right wing radio is threatening republican legislature members that want to vote the right way. She said they have their heads on sticks threatening them daily with recalls if they vote in any way to do the right thing for the state of California.

So the media has radio all day, fox all day, CNN all day, and MSNBC all day except for keith and rachel. This is crazy.

5. Yep. It is out of the $350 Billion Obama has to work with - the second half of the TARP.
Edited on Wed Feb-18-09 11:22 PM by Pirate Smile
This is money already OK'ed but instead of just handing it over to the banks like Bush did, they have this plan to help with housing.

edit to add - The $75 billion Homeowner Stability Initiative would provide incentives to mortgage lenders to cut monthly payments in an effort to persuade them to help up to 4 million borrowers on the verge of foreclosure. The goal: cut monthly mortgage payments to sustainable levels, using money from the $700 billion financial industry bailout passed by Congress last fall.

9. So CNN is just not informing us properly in order to inflame the citizenry....
guess they are after his approval ratings.

So blatent and shit.

Wish we could make a big deal of this and have Schuster talking about it tomorrow on his show. Of course, we will still be talking about the Dead Monkey Cartoon or something like that; not the lies that the media tells.

8. I had to watch Asshat Hannity to see what lies he would tell
He presented it the same way, then went into the major class warfare, then went to lying about the mouse, high speed train that Reid snuck in, then I had to turn it off.
