Watch for this lie.
If you hear it being implied by any news channel that you are watching or any publication that you are reading that President Obama is somehow requesting additional monies, write to these fools doing the misleading.
I saw this happen on CNN on AC360, when Anderson Cooper and the Cheruby chin faced WH Reporter did an entire report in where the amount of money was stressed and piled on top of the 789 Billion they continue to make sure to mention by dollar amount rather than by correct name. Meanwhile, as part of the report, Nasty Candy was sampling the opinions of non-identified but extremely obvious partisan Republicans' opinion on this Foreclosure plan (surprise! They hated it! :eyes: ).
CNN purposefully omitted within their report the fact that this 75 Billion for American Foreclosure Relief is part of the original 700 Billion, that Bush got half of (which then promptly disappeared) and that President Obama got the other half approved of a few weeks ago (and which each cent spent will be accounted for to the public).
The $75 billion Homeowner Stability Initiative would provide incentives to mortgage lenders to cut monthly payments in an effort to persuade them to help up to 4 million borrowers on the verge of foreclosure.
The goal: cut monthly mortgage payments to sustainable levels, using money from the $700 billion financial industry bailout passed by Congress last fall. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090219/ap_on_go_pr_wh/obama_home_foreclosures They, the news media are attempting to make Americans upset that somehow the bills are mounting by the minute under Obama's watch, in order to get viewers "mad" at our President (for the mess that Bush presided over).
Folks know that they can only get mad at the same money so many times. They were mad when it was the original 700 Billion, and mad that congress had to release the other half to Pres. Obama, and I guess they are supposed to get mad again that a part of it is being used to help people instead of Banks.
If you catch this type of reporting, Please write or call these fools. I'm tired of the misinformation that is being put out there in the attempt to drive public opinion of Barack Obama's performance down. They are trying to wound him so that he can't advance the rest of the agenda that we've got coming to us, i.e., healthcare and such.
Of course, they are also doing this to help the Republicans with some kind of "populist" movement, as they hope that Bush will be all but forgotten and President Obama will be put on the hook for this disaster instead.
They're already complicit and therefore responsible for the theft of the 2000 election, the re-election of Bush, getting us into war and for the looting of our treasury.
I'm sick of their shit, and I'm not taking it anymore!
We all need to be sick of this shit!
