Kill 'Em With Kindness---Or Run Over Them with a Bulldozer???

As Hamlet would say, "that is the question"..and I'm torn about it.

On the one hand, Obama playing nice with the Repukes and trying to do the "bipartisanship" thing shines a spotlight on them that makes them look 'obnoxious', 'anti-people', 'pro-rich', 'arrogant', 'greedy', 'out of touch with reality', etc. The result is they are becoming more and more hated.

On the other hand, perhaps it is time for Obama to plow right over them while telling the American people that the problems are too critical to wait around for people who have no solutions (and who got us into this mess in the first place)to throw temper tantrums and act like childen playing with matches.

Unfortunately, we only have two years to get soooo many things done. We don't know what we will have to work with after mid-terms. Perhaps he could do both at the same time...with more emphasis on choice two than choice one.

My mother-in-law (deceased) was an artist who painted the "girlies" on the side of airplanes in WW II (father-in-law was drafted out of med school and was putting bodies back together)! It seems like the same blend as "kindness on the bulldozer".
